Have you ALWAYS wanted to know what it is I do? Well watch this video, and you may know a LITTLE more than you did before. And well, that’s a start.

Hi everyone -
My name is Rory Stern, and I help families affected by ADHD understand that their children are not broken, don’t need to be fixed, and have every possibility in the world to be as successful as the next person. They just need to do it differently…
I’m actually a full-time stay-at-home Dad who believes we should all be able to play and have fun when it is convenient for us, and NOT for everyone else.
I believe that anyone who tells you “No” or “it’s NOT possible” simply hasn’t figured it out themselves or doesn’t have the same vision as you.
My life is all about helping others achieve what they want from life.
In my spare time, I also support a few marketers who run MemberGate membership sites because I love tinkering with the software and I LOVE working with action takers who break the rules each and everyday.

i think it’s hilarious that a video about an elevator pitch is 2:36.
all kidding aside, very well said. i think i finally, sorta, maybe have a better idea of what the hell you do.

Hiya
great article!
I’ve noticed when information is given clearly and concisely at the introduction, people will listen to more detailed stuff afterwards and maybe even understand it.I also believe that using short, precise statements about ourselves builds useful, flexible beliefs that can encourage us to do more.
thanks
Jens

I agree with the rhetoric of all – but media wise, Im not wise. I’m still stuck somewhere between the 1990’s and the whenever. Oh, happy birthday to that guy Evan and his twin bro.

One of the 1st vids I posted was called Seovice Episode 4: So What Do You Do?
The idea for the post came after reading one of Jeff Pulver’s posts. So the problem is there, people don’t understand how you can make a living off of working online and branding yourself and your services.
The vid is fun to watch both because I was still finding my groove with online video and because since posting it, I’ve also been able to cut down my “What I do” pitch to a few seconds.

Rory, you should give classes on elevator pitches. Yours is just suberb and says so much in so few words! Great to get to know you better, and you and I both know how much more successful people are with ADD (like the internet successful internet ’suffers’)
Thanks for stopping by, and you have an open invite to wash my dishes on your next trip out here.. ha.

Charlie, Richard, Oren – Thanks for sharing! Can’t wait to witness more of your successes and see any of you sometime in the near future … (for example http://www.affilicon.com) – June 1-2nd..

It would have to be a very tall building for this elevator pitch to fit in (lol). It must be condensed about 80% – try this: We “increase” the reach and revenues of client’s websites. Our success is your success. period. All the rest is just commentary. In our case – our elevator pitch is simple: WeJew.com is a Youtube/Facebook combination site focused on the Jewish People and Israel. We are the largest Jewish video site on the web. period. Your keywords are increase and success – remember, sometimes people get off the elevator on the 2nd or 3rd floor – plan for that possibility. Regards from the Old City of Jerusalem. You have created excitement – now focus it…

Andrea – you need to make it shorter. The beginning is very good, but then you get into too much detail.
BTW your speech at Affilicon was great!
