I am not yet getting the results I want, but I know, if I keep pursuing, and I keep fighting, and I keep going, and most important of all, if I keep growing and gaining knowledge, then yes I will get the results I want. It’s just a matter of time

Sounds like this guy is foreplay deprived? Perhaps he wanted some sizzle with his steak? I think that’s a much better analogy.

Evan is right – catch my eye, and you have my interest. There is way too much flash without enough substance on this ubiquitous thing we call the Internet – am I really supposed to believe that I’m the 1,000,000th visitor to your website and just won a new iPod?

If you know me (as your prospect, client, repeat client,) you know what I want/need. Don’t pussyfoot around with feel-good sugar-coated platitudes. Just sizzle my steak!

your friend is right (which you obviously know). in this day and age, with the channels of communication so dang clogged and people so busy with their 50 million ventures the offering needs to be engaging as heck.
so if someone doesn’t reply, it really is the fault of the sender.
