If you want to get more traffic to your websites, for FREE, listen up: (Resist the Urge to just click Play on the videos!)Here are some camtasia videos that I have uploaded to TubeMogul last week. By pressing one button, they were added to 5 video sites (which I could easily increase to 20+ if I spent an hour signing up to different sites), and also updated my status on Twitter and Facebook.
Go ahead and watch them if you want. However, here is the traffic lesson:
In step by step format. This may just scratch the surface, but I like to be realistic about expectations on myself and others.
1.
People visit one of my sites. Let’s say Go Andrea. They sign up for free website advice.
2.
Autoresponders are delivered to these new subscribers in intervals that I preselect
3.
Almost identical content that is sent in the autoresponders is turned into a camtasia and added as a video to multiple video sharing sites, Twitter, and Facebook
4.
Almost Identical content is turned into an article and submitted to article sites with links back to my site. Highly recommended to click here if you want your articles added to over 450 sites with the press of a few buttons. Or you could take a week to do the same thing
. Up to you. 5.
Collect this information (the series of articles) and offer it elsewhere as a free report. Allow others (Joint Venture partners, affiliates) to give it away with an embedded affiliate link to get them to send you more traffic.
6.
This information is also the basis of a ‘bigger’ product that you will sell. So it not only brings traffic to your site, it also increases brand recognition, and expertise in your subject matter.
*Please note:
There is no concern of ‘duplicate content’ here. The article submission tool has a special feature which scrambles certain parts of the article so they are always original versions. Variations of the same themes of the content (and the best ones) should (could) be written into blog posts on your site.

It is every true marketer’s responsibility to snoop on what all the other marketer’s are doing. For a few reasons, but most importantly to stay ahead / on top / follow trends.However, since email marketing is such an integral part to any successful marketer’s regimen, you can’t possibly have all these emails in your main account, or you would do nothing else OTHER than follow other people’s success instead of creating YOUR OWN!
So you do what I do, and open up a separate account somewhere and this is where all those emails reside. I call it my ‘spambox’ …

Yeh.. you know me always trying out for something. I was looking to find the link to show you for my latest

but unfortunately my email is too busy downloading 1700 spam emails for me to open the other account and find out for you!
In a nutshell – I answered a very simple 8 question survey for why I should be accepted into this very small select group of individuals.
One interesting question:

Building your list
Since I dont know if there is ‘ONE CORRECT ANSWER’, I am withholding my answer, to hear YOUR answer. This is the choices they offered. Would you have added anything?

Just last week I blogged about being spammed unnecessarily by some lists. I signed up for good content, and do not begrudge the product pitches since these guys deserve to make their living too, assuming that I will still receive the content I expect. However, most have turned into a pitch a minute. Hence the question you will see at that post.
Moving on to my next Email Marketing question. I was debating with a friend:
Do reminder emails in a NICHE market (not IM) work?
I complained that the more repeat emails:
“in case you missed it”
“only 4 more bonuses left”
“Andrea, did you see this?”
only left me feeling that each email carried with it less importance, less content, and that I could afford to miss out on them, since they were becoming repetitive. When this happened, I actually began to miss out on emails with real content, since I became ‘used’ to NOT opening the emails anymore.
My friend insists that what I am saying is possibly true, but NOT in a niche market. In those markets, your subscribers continue to read the emails with relish, take you seriously, regardless of repeat reminders (for which they actually THANK YOU).
I disagreed with him until tonight. Tonight I am sitting in his shoes. I am hosting an event tomorrow and most definitely will be sending out a reminder email tomorrow. Not only do I know that the email will NOT turn off my subscribers, many, as just mentioned, will appreciate the reminder email, and possibly even remember that they wanted to send it to friends as well..
Moral of the story??
DO NOT DELAY.. Start A NICHE MARKET WEBSITE and BE APPRECIATED, NOT HATED like in Internet Marketing!!!

I was sitting down with company this weekend, and was asked, as I am often asked…what do you do for a living?
I dont actually have a ‘pat’ answer, its rather a continual moronic way of using whatever words come to my mind at the time, usually something that will have the listener nodding and thinking.. ‘oh my gosh, poor girl CANT even explain what she does for a living!!’
BUT Internet Marketing is REALLY hard to explain !!
Not to mention, can you call something a living if it is not your primary earnings, and it is not enough to be called an income… YET.
I explain to her as mentioned above.. and you know what she said??

Email marketing, in my opinion, is the easiest, fastest, and most legitimate way to make money online. The ONLY catch, and its not a small one, is that it is Much easier and more successfully done if you have a topic you have a passion for.
I tried my hands at it a few times and continued to fail! I came up with a few topics that I thought would be good niches, and found myself copping out before finishing. I did NOT have a passion for the topic. I did have a passion to make MONEY, but shockingly, this passion was not strong enough to overcome my lack of passion to work on something I didnt LOVE. So… now I am. True, there cannot be more competition than I have in the internet marketing field, but I have been working in it since the year 2000, and for a long time I have ate, slept, and breathed it! Learning of all the possibilies of making money online was soo exciting to me, that I could hardly fathom the concept that people still actually had to get up and leave their house to earn such pitiful salaries at Mcdonalds, selling paper goods, or insurance! I was almost tackling people on the streets and trying to convert anyone who came into my home - ’ARE YOU AWARE THAT YOU COULD BE MAKING MONEY AT HOME, ON YOUR COMPUTER, IN YOUR PJ’S, WORKING HOURS YOU CHOOSE’??? ok, I will calm down now.. but you can see the fuel that feeds my fire here .
