Here are some camtasia videos that I have uploaded to TubeMogul last week. By pressing one button, they were added to 5 video sites (which I could easily increase to 20+ if I spent an hour signing up to different sites), and also updated my status on Twitter and Facebook.

Go ahead and watch them if you want. However, here is the traffic lesson:

In step by step format. This may just scratch the surface, but I like to be realistic about expectations on myself and others.

1.

People visit one of my sites. Let’s say Go Andrea. They sign up for free website advice.

2.

Autoresponders are delivered to these new subscribers in intervals that I preselect

3.

Almost identical content that is sent in the autoresponders is turned into a camtasia and added as a video to multiple video sharing sites, Twitter, and Facebook

4.

Almost Identical content is turned into an article and submitted to article sites with links back to my site. Highly recommended to click here if you want your articles added to over 450 sites with the press of a few buttons. Or you could take a week to do the same thing . Up to you.

5.

Collect this information (the series of articles) and offer it elsewhere as a free report. Allow others (Joint Venture partners, affiliates) to give it away with an embedded affiliate link to get them to send you more traffic.

6.

This information is also the basis of a ‘bigger’ product that you will sell. So it not only brings traffic to your site, it also increases brand recognition, and expertise in your subject matter.

There is no concern of ‘duplicate content’ here. The article submission tool has a special feature which scrambles certain parts of the article so they are always original versions. Variations of the same themes of the content (and the best ones) should (could) be written into blog posts on your site.

   Spend some time learning some of the basic skills that are holding you back from success. Understand how to use WordPress, FTP, Video Editing, and some Graphic skills, to name a few. You will save money on hiring out help, and achieve much faster.

10. Solve a Problem.

    Identify a Problem, Figure out a solution, Tease the target market with some of the solution, and then hold back the rest of the solution for money! Works like a charm.

11. Climbing the Search Engines.

    Naturally if you are able to make it to the first pages of the Search Engine, you are going to get a lot more visitors and make more money, yes? Yes.

12. Take a GOOD look at yourself.

    You can earn a lot more money if you can identify MISTAKES you are making, and how you are leaving MONEY on the table. Big Money.

13. Stay Focused!

    If you can learn to stay focused on the results you want to see, you will make a LOT more money.

14. Viral Marketing.

    Create a Viral campaign, and returns will be more $$$ and lots more.

15. Educate Others.

    Not a way to make a lot of money, but one I certainly enjoyed writing about. I offered money for great insights, ways to be productive, ways to make ME make more money by learning what YOU know. Offer is ALWAYS open.

16. Add Audio.

    Not ready for Video? Easily add some Audio to your website and increase sales. Explain what you are doing with your voice.

17. Increase Brand Awareness.

    Attach your product / service with an online personality, allowing them to self brand and promote for you! You both Earn.

18. Blog for Impact.

    Expand your reach. The possibilities are endless…and fruitful.

19. Increase your Page Rank.

    Get Backlinks to your site, increase your Google PR, move up in the search engines, and watch the magic happen.

20. The COPY is Key.

    If you ask any Internet Marketer what is the most important Element required in a product campaign.. they will all say THE COPY. You cant skimp on the copy. It will make you money.

I look at web sites and they SCREAM AT ME with what they are lacking and how much more they could be earning.. Just because a business took it ‘online’, does not make them internet marketers…
 
I know there are big time companies that charge big time money for dressing in suits and using big time lingo to make you big time lost and you say… “help = here is my big time money – just make it work”.
 
There are those who can actually do it (use their IM skills to make themselves money), and others who are better at preaching it. I am not neglecting the former as an option, by any means… but I really want to do that so it can be bring me more credibility to do the latter more successfully..
 
Before I started my online business, I was actually very successful at hosting moving / estate sales in my local town. I could juggle a crowd of 100+ with no problems, and the best part of each job was that I jumped in with 2 feet, got very into it.. but then when the job was done, it was over.. I received my money and moved on to the next one. I am not quite sure why I have been sabotaging this business that was so good to me – maybe the drug of working online + having small children helped to assuage the guilt of leaving so much money on the table to try my hand at this game.
 
However, this same idea is what I now welcome…. Give me your problem, let me solve it for you, take my money.. and NEXT..

It seems that when it comes to the roads, noone wants traffic, but when it comes to the WEB, its ALL about the traffic.  

 

Many people, myself included, would like to believe that we are going to dump good money into a solid looking website, and then the people are just going to come.. or maybe we will email our parents and friends and that’s all it will take for the business to really take off. 

 

One of my favorite lines from one of the greatest movies in the ’80′s: 

 

“IF YOU BUILD IT, THEY WILL COME”… 

 

 

It could not be LESS true with the WEB! ..  

 

3 Proven Ways to Get Traffic To Your Site

 

As a website owner, your goal is to have a steady stream of targeted traffic flowing into your site. Here are three effective and proven ways to drive traffic to your site.

 

Blogs are a great way to add traffic to your site. You can add a feed burner to your blog which will enable your readers to stay up to date with new posts that you add. The posts can be delivered right to their email or homepage. As you add posts to your blog, point out new articles and other content that you have recently added to your site. The more you talk about your site, the more interest you will generate.

 

If you choose, you can add a blog roll to your blog that lists other blogs your readers might find interesting. If you add a link of someone else’s blog to your site, ask them to add a reciprocal link to your blog. Remember to focus on your target market and what they would find interesting. If your site’s focus is on making homemade organic baby food, trading links with a blog that is focused on bird watching won’t add targeted traffic to your site. However, trading links with blogs devoted to organic food will have a better chance at increasing your traffic.

 

Unless you have a WordPress Blog, which does this automatically, make sure to go to www.pingomatic.com each time you finish a post to let the rest of the web pick up on it!

 

You can also increase the amount of traffic that comes to your site  with article marketing. It may sound complicated, but it is quite easy. You simply write articles and distribute them to article reprint directories. There are many directories out there, and you will want to distribute them to as many directories as possible. This can be done manually, or you can invest in software that can do this for you. Another option is to hire a virtual assistant to submit them for you.

 

By adding these articles to reprint directories, you are giving permission for other people to publish these articles on their sties for free. When other website owners publish the articles you have written, they will include a “bio box” at the end of the article. You choose what the bio box says and can include links to your site. The articles can be any length you choose and can be on any topic. If you don’t like writing, you can hire a ghostwriter to write the articles for you.

If you have MORE time.. you can always post your signature on forums or invite people from Forums to your site. Message Board/Forum posting is a sister to Article writing. They are both a way to bring targetting traffic to your site. Which is really want you want.

 

Having a newsletter is another great way to drive traffic to your site. Include a link to your opt-in page everywhere; the pages on your website, the signature line in the forums you belong to, the signature line in your email, and don’t forget to add the link to your blog. The more people that see your opt-in page, the more subscribers you will get. By sending your newsletter to your mailing list on a regular basis, you will stay in your readers’ minds. Include excerpts from new articles and other information that you have recently added and to your web pages / blog,  including links that point to the full text on your site.
