Besides enjoyment, can you see how this video will generate buzz for the Movie mentioned, and increase sales?People are blogging about it, twitting about it, and more. It’s HOT. It’s also just a sample of what is being offered daily.
Some more examples:
- Gap has an annual contest allowing you to submit pictures of your children for a chance at being a Gap Model! This is awesome on so many levels + guess what could happen when they hit the site to sign up?
- Rich Schefren just spent 26 hours STRAIGHT! conducting a live Ustream Video to create buzz for
his new One on One Coaching Program. Oh yeh, that baby’s live and you Need to check it out HERE!. - Living overseas I haven’t been able to enjoy this, but my brother Evan says it’s the next big thing. So if you are stateside, check it out and make me jealous!
The list could go on to include the video I just received hoping to inspire me to pray harder on Rosh Hashannah (it didnt work), Frank Kern’s new masterpiece, Sarah Silverman’s plea to Jewish grandchildren to tell your grandparents in Florida to vote for Obama, as we know Florida has swayed the vote before, etc etc..
So you want to make some money? Sell more products? Convert more visitors to sales? Get more eyeballs on YOU or YOUR services?

So go run along and do something viral.(oh but PLEASE dont send me those old fashioned forwards. I possess the same amount of superstition as the next person, so when I end up reading your forward, since I inevitably DO, I dont want to hear, or read, or even contemplate that if I don’t forward this on in the next 10 minutes to 100 friends something horrible will happen. .Think historically. Families sitting around a box called a Radio listening to, well listening to ANYTHING that came out of it. Next came the TV….. even static was interesting.
Well jump ahead to today, and the new hot trend is still sitting around watching a box, only its Web Videos on your computer screen and YOU and I have control over what people watch!

For my parents 25th wedding anniversary, I spent $275 on a VHS video with a bunch of stills put to music. As we are nearing their 50th wedding anniversary, instead of your expected inflation, I could create a far superior product today using ALL online tools/software for FREE or next to it.
Fact #2 -
If a competitor uses videos, and the products are on par, assuming you don’t have the market share of traffic, your competitor will sell more

The only thing MORE powerful than the audio / visual combo of a video is word of mouth. We will get to that later. Although a powerful viral video trumps them all.
Here is how I create my top of the line, high class videos. Ha!
STEP 1.
I charge up with my little digital camera with rechargeable batteries. I have about 20 minutes of video time per 1GB memory card. There are top of the line digital cameras, but even the lower of the line should produce a very good quality video, with perhaps less features. Therefore, brand is irrelevant. Correct me if I am wrong.
STEP 2.
I decide where I am going to be, and I either hold it in my hand, or place it down somewhere. Press record and talk. As loudly as I can. Especially if daytime and competing with construction. Next.
STEP 3.
I stick the chord that came with my camera into the camera on one side and into the computer on the other side. I am automatically offered choices where I want my pictures / videos to download. I select Adobe Photo. Then it downloads.
STEP 4.
Now I decide what software I want to use to edit. I usually choose Windows Movie Maker, since it is free and comes with my computer. Mac users have other free better options. I just started using Ulead (free trial) since my Windows Movie Maker (WMM) kept crashing every time I opened it. I will most likely purchase Ulead since it is set up very similarly to WMM, with lots of cool features. I will ask Dave his opinion first though
. Here is how you can get over the learning curve to figuring out these softwares - you simply place your files (audio, images, video) in their media ‘library’. Then you can dump the files into either a storyboard format or timeline view. Timeline view allows you to see how the ’story’ of your video is lined up. Then you can select to create and place titles in your story, as well as images, audio, and of course they offer effects and transitions. As you can tell from my videos, I have yet to master the art of transition. I have mastered the art of the ‘cut’.
STEP 5.
I save the video as best quality for the web. Then I sign into Youtube, etc.. and upload it! Just today I noticed that the quality of my videos is not coming out (no, not referring to the content, (well, that too..) but the video quality seems grainy.) I am imagining my kids feeling like it’s torture to watch these in 20 years. Have to figure this out. Any suggestions?
Using the FLIP ULTRA
did cut out some of those steps, but not enough to have to endure the poor (er) quality videos it produced. (not all of them, just randomly. Those are chances I am not interested in taking).

One of the most inspirational speakers at the Rockin Conference I attended in Orlando was Gary Vaynerchuk. He has his game on 100% and will no doubt own the NY JETS one day . His passion is palpable and he literally sat there for HOURS after his speech, definitely hungry and tired.. until everyone felt that they had whatever piece of him he could give before moving on.
Some people, as Frank Kern so expertly delivered at the conference, have to do deep introspection to figure out WHO THEY ARE before being able to take over your market. You become 100% true to yourself, be 100% true to your Market, and the rest will follow.. Gary was BORN with it, and it seeps from his being. He was trying to teach it, and yeh.. some people will get lucky, and will train themselves how to market from their CORE.. but it may just be you either HAVE it or you DONT. Well let’s rephrase that. Everyone HAS something.. its just owning up to that and being great at it.
So can I make a living being a flirt lol.. I probably could.
As I went over to winelibrarytv.com to see Gary in action, I thought it was pretty ironic that the episode of the day, #422, is all about Kosher Wines. Do you know Gary that the symbol for tourism in Israel is 2 figures holding HUGE grapes! Well some of you may know where that Biblical story came from, and it didnt exactly turn out great, but the logo stuck.. - Check it out —>
I especially love how Gary says one of the wines smells like Bacon. Wonder if he knows Bacon is way up high on the NON Kosher list . So Gary, this chick from Israel thanks you and appreciates you for your appearance in Orlando, your personal time, your inspiration, and the support you gave our products today!

I know I promised this video 2 days ago, but 2 things happened:
1) I got tired. Sorry. It happens occassionally. I will try not to let it happen again.
2) I decided last minute to remove all references to a report I was promoting in the VIDEO. Not because I dont find it worthy of promoting, in fact I am.. right HERE and read below.. but I wanted the video to be more timeless and well.. have the potential to promote ME :). However, instead of re-recording, I just took the same footage and chopped it up even more!
As is typical.. just as I am getting ready to do something, someone else comes along with a big bang! Andrew Cavanagh wrote a thread on the Warrior Forum suggesting similar ideas to what I mention in my video. As I suspected would happen, people were like WOW.. meaning the idea never occured to them. I did not actually see the thread in the forum. I think it was removed so he could instead pitch the idea and sell it. I advise you to check out this $19.99 product since unlike many other products where you purchase and dont know what you are getting, he has his original forum post in his sales pitch and there are no secrets.
What you are getting in this report (< -- link) are tips to approach businesses, lingo with with to approach them, how to build up referrals (which it really is all about), services to offer, prices to charge, outsourcing suggestions, and some basic SEO practices.. Basically helps you fill in the holes. Not to hype it up, but his price will only remain for a while, since that is the rules of this forum! Be expected for a serious hike in the next few days.
By the way I am quite serious about what I wrote in the video. If you go out and get the clients, I will take half (well assuming you charge them enough!), and show you how to get it done. It wont take long for you to cut out the middle man, and do it for yourself! So go ahead and click contact!

Pretty much everyone out there in the blogosphere who has some involvement with anything internet knows about the very successful blogger John Chow. Except GOOGLE!! I searched ‘John Chow blog’, and he was Nowhere to be found! Same results for ‘John Chow’.
My first thought was concern for myself (its all about me!).. the more well known I become in my market, the more other, more successful online marketers will write about me. A search for Andrea Yager brought you here first + some other resources that I was personally responsible for. Now that I am on other peoples lips (and pages).. I will have to work harder to maintain my #1 spot for my name on the Search Engines..
Next thought… was DUH.. John Chow is like a web genius - do you really think searching for his name should show the hilarious John Cow? Google is smarter.. so I suspect some tug of war going on.. and
NOTE TO SELF: Start SEO’ing the Keywords John Chow Making Money Online Blogger since I have a better chance of getting that Organic traffic than he does. Also wonder what John Cow did right in his life to have this twist of fortune.
I finally had a chance to make money doing something I, ahem.. LOVE..
PayPerPost is offering $12 to write a post about Johnny Depp. ANYTHING about him. His new movie is coming out in the theaters, so paying people to write about him.. will certainly get the web buzzing. Gee, as if the web is ever buzzing about anything else.
Well, ignoring the fact that I have not been signed up to PPP long enough to be accepted (about 2 hours lol) and that I am doing this as a gratuitous gesture to the wonder that is JD, here is my part.
What does Johnny Depp have to do with Internet Marketing?
He got his fame by being a controversial character with integrity.
He maintained it by adding value to the users experience.
He is a true Maven in his market, and has even successfully reinvented himself from being a funky volatile punk to a funky loving father. He is an artist to be watched to see what he will do next.
I have no other reasons to be watching him. None Whatsoever. No really.

Here we are on the morning of the much anticipated release of Attention Age Doctrine Part II. The Doctrine that tells you how to maximize success in a world where keeping somoene’s attention is becoming increasingly more difficult..
Yet I will be the FIRST to admit.
I am NOT really looking that forward to reading another document. I download and buy more products than I have time to digest, and I am actually petrified that I will completely MISS the POINT.
Therefore I want to say it NOW, on the BLOG, for the record! WHAT IS IT THAT WE (I) Want from Rich Schefren. What is it that WE can get from HIM??
If you are looking to make some fast web cash, you will enjoy the free information and pick up some great tips and tools. But you can do that at the Warrior Forum, and just about from any clickbank product (if you follow it).
Nothing wrong with fast cash, but there comes a certain time in your career, when you realize that fast cash may be here today, but gone tomorrow. That for the sake of longevity, and the real meaning of passive income, there is so much opportunity in actually having a proper functioning business, that combined with your IM skills, if you allign yourself with the proper people and tools, you may have a blueprint to follow and people who care if you succeed. Thats Rich Schefren.
It doesnt matter if you want to focus on rapid weight loss, left handed fly fishers, or becoming an online consultant - you can either view yourself as pitching a product or creating a BUSINESS. If you are just creating a product.. then WHAT NEXT?? If you are creating a business (which YES you can around a niche), then you can position yourself to go very very far.
Which is just want I plan to do. Looking forward to it Rich.. and the business systems that follow!

Seriously how can I have time to blog, when I am too busy spending money. Even the Next Internet Millionaire was ahead of schedule .
I am going to go out on a limb here.. but it is my NEW belief that if you have $500 to spend and you know the right resources - in ANY GIVEN WEEK, you (aka NEWBIE or More) could cull ideas, hire / purchase the materials and get something up and going. This is actually a piece of the puzzle that I was always missing. I believed I had to do BIG.. and while it’s true that I am working on BIG to Earn BIG, if you can learn how to earn small, and set it up multiple times, thats a good start! And actually accomplish.
My next post.. ok very very soon.. will share more of what I am buying.. but since I just dumped this on you, I am going to give you an opportunity to check out a NEW report that is lauded as one of the best marketing ebooks around. For more than just it’s content. It’s combined with both 20 ways REAL Marketers earn at least $100 daily, and the creation of the product itself is a testament to the success that you can have as these 20 contributed, packaged, marketed it, and here I am promoting it!
Honestly $3000 per month is not enough for most people to ‘fire their boss’, but with 20 options, something is bound to be eye opening, give you a new perspective, take the idea and put a twist on it, and that’s what this whole education is all about.
So back to my shopping spree - Up until now, I usually would buy something for its value of what it CAN DO. I would be sucked in with the compelling sales copy. Naturally, the items would sit collecting dust on my hard drive. Heck, one of the main reasons items sell so well, is that 20% of the marketers are counting on 80% to do nothing with them!
It’s not like I am new to spending impulsively. As I explained before and will repeat until I can make YOU feel good about it, I invested in an education. SO what if the people were selling a DREAM, and I bought into that. I learned something. everything. I can assure you that my sister in NYU spending $45k per year, forcing my dad to push off retirement, will NOT come out more prepared. I guess it’s an expensive way to make sure she has a social life, since working from home online aint too good for that .. (love you Ris!)
This time I have a plan. Its not 100% formed. There are holes. There is flexibility. I havent entirely hit the nail on the head. But when I see something to purchase, I see how can it fits in this puzzle, and simplifies the process, hopefully offering a double advantage of saving money and earning us more. The Internet Marketing world is filled with items created for mass production, and therefore you can pick up an item for $37 that if ordered custom for you could cost in the $100’s if not $1000’s. Not to mention the chance to purchase online money making ideas (like I am promoting here) for anywhere from $7 to $47 which can get addictive, but often opens your eyes up to more possibilities, and increases your knowledge of the market, what is out there, and is a real bargain when you add up the added value you can attach to your resume.
A friend of mine who contributed ONE of these 20 ideas could sell it on it’s own for the price of the book. I loved his idea! Making money online is not all about loans, weight loss, and ebay! You can make money promoting Hanna Montana, and Britney Spears.. Find something for you (or your teenage kids) to do in their spare time to earn some cash. Multiply his idea by 20 and you have what I call a NO Brainer. For those of you who are a bit slow that was a link to check it out. HERE is another one.

Most Internet Marketers earn their keep by promoting products on how you can promote online products or earn money from some tactic or another.
Every now and then a marketer develops a site/product/service which separates them from the pack and catapults them into being a serious player.
John Reese of ‘Traffic Secrets’ fame did just that.
His BlogRush syndication was developed to help increase FREE targeted traffic to your blog by placing a widget on your site that allows other blogs to see related material and vice versa. The Internet Marketing twists:
1) If someone clicks on a topic on your blog.. a new window will open so you dont lose a viewer.
2) You receive a viewing credit each time the BlogRush widget is viewed on your blog.
3) With ‘Kosher Style’ MLM, if you refer bloggers to BlogRush, then you can get ‘viewing credits’ based on the viewership of each blog you refer. Of course the problem with this.. if you sign up 10 sub par non active blogs, and it caps at 10 sub referrers, (which I believe I heard), then you may not get the results you like.
I am all for more Blog Traffic, but my ONE complaint and reason you do not currently see the BlogRush widget on my blog.. It is too wide and the script does not allow me to play with the sizes, as I have done for MyBlogLog, and Bumpzee. I could not find any way to contact them via their very well put together site. Any advice?
I highly recommend you get started with BlogRush today, since like other MLM’s those in first stand to benefit the most. Plus its just a great all round asset for your Blog, and it looks nice too. No Hype Needed.

Did you ever notice how when you do things accidently, it is a lot easier to accomplish, than doing so on purpose? I know I was not the ‘inspiration’, yet I linked to Joanna, reminding her of what she calls thematic link posting, which inspired Liz to issue a challenge to weave blogs together with a theme.
Wow. The whole world is out there for my picking, and now I dont know where to go.
I am going to tell you something shocking, and hard to believe.
There are people, in their mid-youth (as in not our grandparents), who dont own computers, and may even be scared of them. That means they only rely on their friends, family, neighbors, and random outings for experiences and life content. That is so 1860’s! I shudder at the thought!
I am rapidly yanked out of my blog vortex and brought back to reality with the slamming of the door. It is my daughters last day of ‘day camp’ and I am invited to watch her perform. All the mommies are sitting against the wall of a cramped building lobby and watching our girls doing a few silly skits and I cant help but think.. this was all these girls have been talking about, thinking about, and working towards for the last 2 days straight. How small can someones’ life be?
Is this new blog environment I am spending so much time in… the one that has me itching for her show to end,
social or anti social? I use to crave leaving the computer for a few hours at the park with the children. That was before WE met!
You (and there are many of YOU), have replaced my need to yap about the best sippy cups, which park do we prefer, and whats for dinner.
Yet you dont know who I am.
I think I have become a blog addict. I say I havent watched TV in a year, but that doesnt mean all my time is well spent!
So as I am in the middle of the ‘bigness’ of it all - I am simultaneously smiling at my baby, watching him crawl around and making sure nothing enters his mouth, so I am constantly reminded of the ’smallness’ of it all.
Perhaps the smallness of it all is what I share with YOU, but the bigness is the smile my baby reserves JUST FOR ME.
I surf around some and realize that there really are no rules..
and realize that the lines are blurred for largesse and smallesse - see I can even make up my own words -
I witness a sampling:
the smallness of a diary of a childs health / eating habits
the middle size countdown for a pregnancy
the bigger and put to better use education blog
the eggs over easy too much information our paths would never cross if it werent for the web Blog
The commercial size (and shameless plug for my twin brothers) USA TV Character Road trip blog
The largness of a conversation blog (every post on this site is a conversation)
The colossal (pun intended) get everyone involved and make a difference blog
And How Opportunity Works is what has me up at 5:50 AM while my baby is ASLEEP, working to meet Liz’s deadline.
I am not certain I succeeded at what was being asked, but at least I got no sleep, will be further behind on paying projects, and will scream at my kids all day tomorrow.

First an apology to my huge list of readers . I mentioned a part II to my previous post, and it just is NOT happening … YET. It is summer, people are everywhere, it’s hot, and my brain is a little fried.
Just throwing out a question to You - curious what you think…
How much of a product of the WEB 2.0 environment are YOU??
I have made some videos and anticipate immersing myself more into this newest trend. If you told me 2 years ago, that I would be making these videos and subjecting myself to public opinion, ridicule, etc.. there is NO WAY I would believe you.
I dont think anyone understands where all those videos from YouTube came from?? Who ARE those people who uploaded clip after clip and what were they thinking?? How did they know?
Sure I head over to YouTube when I am in the mood for some nostalgia or to check out a favorite scene from an old sitcom/movie.. but when you come across something like this, you have to wonder:
WHO created WHO??
and how about this - would these prisoners in the Phillipines have done this (this is one of many videos) if there was NO audience??:
I am compelled to ask..
What came first?
The BLOG or The BLOGGER?
Blogging has given me, amongst countless others, the chance to re-develop writing skills shelved since College, create online conversations with colleagues, earn a little money (if you will it..), and again.. put myself OUT THERE.. an additional contribution towards our ‘audition’ to the world..
since isnt that what it has all become about??
WEB 2.0 = ONLINE AUDITIONING.
Trying to get discovered in some way.. from Google, other bloggers, future clients, future advertisers.
Can you be a shy blogger who sits in the corner with your nose in a book, doesnt make friends easily, even if you are a Geek, and understand computers, and be successful?
