since you used Jeremy and brilliant in the same context, you must be
mis
understanding
...

But I've found that telling someone to do something over and over again until they ASK you to change the subject really works in the favor of the advertiser.

Think about it like this:

how many times will Miller beer run the same ad, or push the same message? Until it's stuck in your head.

Works for them... and works for me.

Andrea,

I think it's still good to email people regularly, but it probably depends some on your target market. In the Internet Marketing market I can't imagine people being happy about getting daily emails unless it's an email training course. Although total beginners would be an exception, because they might not yet realize how annoying it is until they sign up to be on more guru lists.

On one of my sites, if you're unlucky enough to sign up on my list, I email you 4 days per week until you take action, and ask me to stop reminding you to do the step/task.... at which time I put you in another campaign to be emailed daily to do another task.

People take the steps. I make the money. Everyone's happy.

P.S. I try to keep the messages at least semi-content rich, and not just pitch fests.
