There are times you work, and there are times you surf the web while on the job. Of course if you are like me and you WORK FROM HOME,  you dont get PAID to surf (like sooo many of my friends), and then you could have a very unproductive day.

However, if you choose to glean something from EVERY website that you visit, and as a result help improve your business, then you may be pleasantly surprised with the end results. Here is what I learned today:

      1) Most important for you visitors, so I will start HERE:

      Squiddo..

Not a likely name for a successful site. Their logo is an image of a tadpole of sorts?? Gee maybe its really a Squiddo and I have no idea what a squiddo is.. DUH

Yet they, along with MySpace, etc… are completely changing the way the web works. Now its all about the user experience.  The first user experience style site was really Amazon. They offered readers to post reviews of the books they purchased, and of course, they offer this now for every product. This was such a unique feature at the time, and it has since given birth to soo many sites that people probably would give all the credit to YouTube as being the introducer of this concept.

      ‘Nuff Rambling..

      • I was RIPPED OFF by An Internet Marketing SEO DARLING!

While I am still waiting for the quote back from the graphic artist, and have yet to select a programmer from my outsourcing source…. I stumble upon someone who is doing exactly what I was planning!!

Check it out here - FreeIQ (Oh… It’s Free and YOU make money from it!)

But they are not just doing it small… they are doing it HUGE…

      Like YouTube Huge…

Just looking at what they are offering makes me laugh when I am trying to negotiate the price of my new project to a couple of thousand G’s. These people put major, time, effort, and expense, with serious investment backers.

The Best part of it is that it is being spearheaded by Brad Fallon, who besides being a fellow Atlantan, like yours truly :), is also a MASTER Search Engine Optimizer, and already an Internet Marketing Darling. So the Alexa ranking dropped by like 5 million in a day :)

The basic concept is YouTube with affiliate links. I have been trying to use bubbleply fo this affect, but that will no longer be necessary.

An Affiliate Link is when you sign up for FREE to a company, they provide you with a special link, and when people purchase or sign up somewhere with your link, you get a cut! There is NO extra cost to the consumer. Not like they have regular prices or inflated affiliate prices :). THat would be funny.

Anyways, this is a great opportunity to finish up that product you were looking to promote. I know I will be pulling another all nighter - AGAIN, to add to this site.. at worst its a great place to get awesome free content.

      • The ABSOLUTE FASTEST Way to Discover a FABULOUS Online BUSINESS For Yourself

    • Thats a long title and a pretty hefty challenge. I mean it though.  Anytime I do this ‘ONE THING’, I walk away with my brain REELING with all the possibilities and ‘If I only had more times’ and ‘If I wasnt already so committed to other fantastic ideas’.

Not to toot my own horn, but the reason I find these in the first place is because I already am involved in other fabulous projects. Its true. Therefore other people probably dont count on voyeurs. This must be why they dont cover for themselves, cuz man is it ever easy…

Sorry its taking me so long to get to the point. It’s just that I am still trying to make money in this world myself, that I am trying to convince myself it is ok to give away such an awesome freebie, with NOTHING in return. Not requiring your email, or nothing.

    • $7 Secrets... buy for $7!!!

I am very wary of saying ANYONE CAN DO IT.. In fact I just read a long post by a fellow internet marketer that those words are SO unfair. How can you possibly suggest that ANYONE can do something. You can never understand what may cripple someone else into getting something off the ground - whether it be lack of time, money, and / or skills.

However, after reading the following 33 page report… in about 5 minutes, I would say that I have found a product which is the CLOSEST to … an anyone can do it way to make money online. And gain confidence and a name for themselves!! That bonus makes this whole thing soo exciting.

      It requires the following:

      • Without Traffic, enjoy being a Starving Artist 101 :)

    • While Traffic is not EXACTLY part of the series of ways to make money online  - without traffic, what do you really have??

3 Proven Ways to Get Traffic To Your Site

As a website owner, your goal is to have a steady stream of targeted traffic flowing into your site. Here are three effective and proven ways to drive traffic to your site.

Blogs are a great way to add traffic to your site. You can add a feed burner to your blog which will enable your readers to stay up to date with new posts that you add. The posts can be delivered right to their email or homepage. As you add posts to your blog, point out new articles and other content that you have recently added to your site. The more you talk about your site, the more interest you will generate.

If you choose, you can add a blog roll to your blog that lists other blogs your readers might find interesting. If you add a link of someone else’s blog to your site, ask them to add a reciprocal link to your blog. Remember to focus on your target market and what they would find interesting. If your site’s focus is on making homemade organic baby food, trading links with a blog that is focused on bird watching won’t add targeted traffic to your site. However, trading links with blogs devoted to organic food will have a better chance at increasing your traffic.

Unless you have a Wordpress Blog, which does this automatically, make sure to go to www.pingomatic.com each time you finish a post to let the rest of the web pick up on it!

You can also increase the amount of traffic that comes to your site Continue reading Without Traffic, enjoy being a Starving Artist 101 :)

      • How To Buy a Domain Name

    • Dont be embarassed if you dont know this! I recently went to a class on website traffic, and a Woman asked about where do people get those names for their site. It was then I realized that unless you are involved in a field, why should you expect anyone to know these things….

A domain name is the name of your website. For instance, ebay.com is the domain name for eBay.  There are many places to buy domains on the web. You can purchase the domain for a single year or in terms of multiple years. Domain registration is relatively inexpensive, with prices at under $10 per year.

The fist step of buying a domain is searching for a name. Here are some tips on naming your site:
