Sitting down to write - whether it be a blog post, novel, report, ebook, etc. - is often a HUGE challenge. We all know the term ‘writers block’, so how many times have you sat with pen and paper and found yourself staring at a blank piece of paper for hours??

I’ve struggled with this from time to time myself. And I’ve done almost exactly what you suggest to help me in my writing. I write from deeper inside.
I also think about sitting down with you and talking over a cup of tea. And I try to write like we’re talking to each other. That seems to work great for me and has definitely helped me get more thoughts out.

Sometimes it helps to have “permission” from someone else to do what you know you need to, like walk away from the computer and go relax, take a walk, call up a friend…
Dawud, that’s some great advice, too! I think I will try imagining sitting down with a friend (but I’ll do it over coffee
) and just chatting.
