Great video/discussion! I couldn’t agree more about approaching and working with people in the same field. It does feel good… just like it does to compliment anyone about something great they are doing! At the end of the day, relationships are all we really have. I find no matter how successful I am, it’s just nice to have great relationships with people!

Good advice. In business I think we sometimes forget that we reap what we sow. It is important to have good relationships with people even if that means you end up giving away customers to competitors. Conversely, it is also crucial that when asked, you give an honest opinion of others and their work (even if it is a poor review) because that too, will get back to you.

I don’t know if it’s human nature to fail. They seems counter intuitive to me. However, may fail simply because they lack faith in themselves.

We have experienced slow and dark times growing our SEO business. Now, we are on the cusp a greatness (by our standards) because we keep our dream alive and we have given ourselves the opportunity to succeed because we have put in tons of effort.

I felt sad watching this that for all the social networking and happy hookups on Facebook and all, there’s still such a scarcity mentality among marketers – people who should know better. I’m going into a niche that doesn’t know about the freeline and how joint venturing “lifts all boats.” I’m not anticipating an easy time getting deals, cooperation or even a “hello”. But this video is a great reminder to me that I can be the change I want to see in the world, as Gandhi put it. I’ll just take the lead and see where things go. Great message I’ve cut my teeth on internet marketing under Internet Marketing Sweetie, Alice Seba. She taught me early that competitors can friends and partners. I’ve never felt like I had to hold back on compliments, purchases or recommendations because of that and I do believe I’ve seen my business grow and prosper.
