• When I spoke at Affilicon in June, I was interviewed (on the spot) a few times. My first reaction when viewing these videos online was to pretend they never happened. In fact, I don’t think I even watched this whole video through (that’s real inspiring to get you to do so haha)

    So I happened upon this video in a search the other day, and watch it to the end! This is a lot less painful with enounce / myspeed since most people sound much more intelligent when you speed them up, including yours truly.

    Anyway, I guess enough time has passed that I don’t think I sound particularly intelligent, but … well, tell me what YOU think. I can take it. Really.

    MORAL OF THE STORY: (especially if you are a target for being put on the spot, as any speaker at an event should be prepared for)

    Have a few GREAT answers to questions that people typically want to know. How hard is that to do? Most interviewers will be flexible to direct the conversation where you want it to go, but if you throw in a few intelligent lines, it can hopefully gloss over the less Ahh and Umm moments.
