I dont think I would have mentioned this way of making money online had I not been able to do it as done in the video. (have to create SOME suspense to get you to watch
! ). However, how foolish would I be to SKIP it? As one of the most widely visited sites on the web, Ebay is THE quintessential way to make money online. Heck, it practically invented the concept!
If you are in the need of some emergency cash, or you simply just want to make your FIRST DOLLAR, look no further than Ebay. Sometimes you just get so discouraged. So here is the plan.
1. Find something you can live without in your house. If this is a problem, then you have problems![]()
2. Take a Picture of it with a Digital Camera, Flip, etc. Borrow a digital camera from your neighbors 8 year old son, THAT’s how many people have digital cameras and you should too.
3. Go to Ebay and Sign up. (damn wish I had patience to find the affiliate link since they pay like $20 per new sign up.
4. Follow their instructions. Dont forget to choose the appropriate category and sub categories.
5. Make Your first dollar.
Once you see a positive cash flow, instead of constantly spending, you will be invigorated to try more. Upward and Onward.

Hi,
yeah, selling on ebay is very easy. I’ve done it for years not, crazy what people will buy as long as it’s on ebay. I’ve recently started my own little company, soon I’ll be selling on ebay as well. Can’t wait for everything to be ready for it.
Cheers, Hans

And selling your old crap is also environmentally friendly. Rather than taking up space in a landfill, it will bring joy to some other person and $$ in your pocket. But the idea of going to China and bringing back a boatload of stuff to sell on Ebay? Not such a good idea. Besides their terrible environmental and human rights record, there is no shortage of chinese made crap. Better advice is to buy stuff somewhere more unusual - like exotic wood guitars from Thailand or gourmet tahini from Nablus. Or something.

Selling you stuff on eBay is also a good way to clean your house. I went a little to far last week and now I can’t find the cat and my neighbor can’t find her two year old bratty child. OOPS!
I’ve been trying to get my wife to sell the stuff she buys that has been marked down 70-90%. Even if she only makes a few dollars per item, she be ahead. And, she’ll be cleaning out the house.

Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
ck, that China biz idea is not going away anytime soon. From showerheads, to kitchen cabinets, to party favors, China and it’s cheaply and possibly not so well made products, are making those brave people lots of money! We are talking volume sales here too. The items you suggest would definitely sell, but consistently?
Bob, you hit the nail on the head.. any positive cash flow is worth pursuing, and it also cleans out the house! Double bonus!
Miriam, you can come and borrow her for an afternoon

Why not go with the obvious? So often we tend to overlook those things that are already working.
We’ve made some nice extra bucks through the occasional ebay sale of those unwanted gifts and duplicates.
Like everything else though, people need to remember that it takes time and due dilligence to make it profitable. Make sure to do your homework when pricing shipping costs because much of the time that is where the profit margin is.
We’ve been burned before arriving at the PO to discover that the thing is much heavier than we figured and the sale only netted a few cents.

You are so right! I think in a different life, like the life I may have had if I lived in your neck of the woods, I would be ALL OVER Ebay.. its just my style of game. I feel very left out that I cant play in it so much, but it is due to inflated shipping costs from overseas..
However, I have had some success selling items that people specifically want MADE in ISRAEL. They expect higher shipping rates then.
Anyways, bottom line - as you said. Don’t ignore the obvious. Ebay is providing a livelihood for more people than we could even think to count..
