if they were really looking for conflict on the show, the NAYSAYER would have been better than the ‘lambs to the slaughter’ , dontcha think? Glad to hear you wouldnt either.

I am totally down with that. However, when you face something unpleasant that may conflict with your integrity .. and the jury could still be out whether eating worms shows that you lack integrity.. then you cant relate it to something like exercise.

Consider this – how about the challenge of writing 10 service emails in 15 minutes. I have never done that before! Why did everyone choose to reject such a challenge?? Well I know why.. dont answer that.. cuz not working rather eating worms may get me the JV.. lol

I guess there is a slight relevanace though if you read between the lines. Forget the worms exactly – they were faced with a situation in which in order to help them reach their goal (win the challenge) they could do something unpleasant. This is a situation we face all the time isn’t it?

We’re not necessarily asked to eat works in our jobs (well I hope not!) but how many times do we know that we have an unpleasant task ahead of us that can help us get what we want? Exercise anyone?

I guess if you have a reality tv show your contestants have to eat live animals… good thing I didn’t try out for the show, I would have said no way man!

George, – hmm was that a lucky guess or do I wear it on my sleeve? I agree with you that they may have considered this a possibility, which is a shame, since it is quite discomforting that NOONE rejected the challenge outright. It would have been my pleasure to not eat a live animal.. call me crazy.
